Saigon Saigon

End of January/beginning of February I flew home to Vietnam for around 10 days, just before the new college term started. It was lovely to be back home after a whole year here in Sydney; my sister has grown up so much and is the cutest little girl there could ever be in this world, and of course it was exciting to catch up with the whole family and some of my friends. The weather was absolutely enjoyable - not too hot, not cold, bright and sunny, no single rain drop. I spent a few days sick in bed, but all in all it was a great holiday :)  I also stopped in Singapore on my way to Ho Chi Minh and FINALLY bought my Nikon D3100 there (*happy dance*) so I was practising quite a bit at home as well.

I miss my little darling at home, it's her birthday soon so I'm gonna send her a present (note to self: buy present!). And I will receive a package with my tailored suits for college soon as well, bringing a bit of Saigonese air to my Manly life. Can't wait.

The boy's gone

But it doesn't mean goodbye, my lover.
We're just continuing two separate journeys until we meet again.

There is not much to say.

I have your swatch watch, your hoodie and your shirts, your chilli tree, your guitar and lots of other things you've left behind that hold the smell, taste and colour of our beautiful days.

I will miss your pretty face, your hilarious jokes, your warm and firm hug, even your candles on your stock market programme, and miss coming home seeing you work on your computer in the living room, miss "gratouilling" your beard and your hair, miss hearing you call me all my funny nicknames. Actually I am already.

2 weeks until nobody checks at all

Last night I was in bed with my laptop and I heard this really strange clipping noise (just like when you cut your finger nails. Toe nails would be fairly similar too I reckon). It was like nearly 12 and I thought why would Polly cut her nails at this hour? Of course it wasn't her, everywhere the lights were out, and when I heard it coming out of our bathroom and turned the light on it stopped. And then it started again when I went back to bed. I wonder who else is living with us in our bathroom, getting mani pedi done at midnight.

I love my room in nightlamp light.

It's gonna be a good flight today dear. x
